Period pads out and about

This was one of the first subjects I was asked about during a live chat on my group:

“How do I use reusable period pants or pads at work or out of the house?”

The hack is pretty straightforward, take your spare pad with you in a small PUL or “wet” bag, inside your handbag. Then all you have to do is change your pad and store the used pad safely in the wet bag until you get home. You can rinse it under a cool or warm tap if you prefer, but I usually do this at home at the end of the day.

The same principle also applies for period underwear. You can always team them up as well, start the day with a pad inside your period pants & then simply remove the pad when it’s time to change and you’re good to go!

Multipurpose

Wet bags can be used as a substitute for any time you would normally think of using a plastic bag, but of course they are much prettier and more discreet. Best of all you can just chuck them in the wash with your pads (this also means they make perfect make-up bags, if like me you find powder gets everywhere).

I have to admit, I am almost as obsessed with beautiful print bags as I am with pads! Check out my beautiful range in stock here.
